The balcony catches the morning sun. It is where the first coffee happens before you head out.
It shares the building with Santiago I, on Avenida Santiago Menor: first floor, lift, and covered parking for anyone renting a car. And anyone who has rented a car in Funchal knows what that is worth. It sleeps up to four.
The balcony faces east, so the sun arrives early and the morning starts with light. It is the most practical of the three: into the garage, up in the lift, and out on foot to the old town and the Barreirinha sea pools. If you fly in, you can ask us for the transfer.

This was a fantastic place to stay in Funchal! I couldn't ask for a better location, host, or apartment. We had lots of space and a nice little balcony. The shower was hot and the beds were firm and comfortable. Our host even left us some snacks and wine, which was such a nice touch. Parking onsite made things super easy.
A great spot. Very close to a fabulous swimming spot and very close to the old town. Lots of nice restaurants. Pedro brought us to and from the airport also, which was very convenient.
Awesome place to stay! Walkable to old town and downtown. We rented a car and there was parking in the garage which made it easy. Host is very friendly, super responsive and helpful, and gave us good recommendation. The street can be noisy with traffic at times, it was not all the time, but everything else makes it worth it! He greeted us at check in and made arriving very easy! 10/10 recommend and would stay here again.
